Local Pickleball Resources

With the rise of popularity , Pickleball has no limit on resources , as a matter of fact , there can almost be too many resources , so many that it becomes difficult to know who to trust and what methodologies to follow. We have put together a few resources that we find helpful when keeping up to date with Pickleball in the Capital Region and beyond.


Facebook : Pickleball of the Capital Region


This has become the go to source with one of the largest groups of pickleball players in the area. If there is a tournament or news of a new league or new place to play pickleball , chances are you’ll find out about it here :



Facebook: Pickleball Upper Hudson Valley NY


This group was started by my partner Jen and covers areas further south of the Capital Region , same kind of group as Capital Region , just a tad smaller.




Pickleball Galaxy


Forget Amazon, Dicks or Walmart , if you need anything Pickleball related , go see Tony at Pickleball Galaxy in Malta. I have seen too many people start out with the cheapest paddles or shoes they can find online just to go to Pickleball Galaxy and rebuy all of there equipment , they have the biggest selection of paddles and if your a beginner you can look at the large selection of used / demo paddles , as well as amazing prices on shoes. You can also rent and demo paddles before you buy , just to make sure it’s a good fit . Go see Tony and tell him Sean and Jen sent you :)




True Pickleball Club


This club opened late 2023 and has been the premier destination for top quality pickleball since , with its indoor facility , comfortable cabanas to relax in between games as well as many events offered , it’s worth a look , stop by and find out more about all they have to offer .

This website is run by Cathleen and has a wealth of information , it’s definitely one of the best resources around , think of it as your local news paper , just 100% pickleball !!
